We use Cheiro's Indian vehicle-numerology method. Your date of birth gives two numbers: the Mūlāṅka (psychic — the day-of-month digit-sum) and the Bhāgyāṅka (destiny — the full-date digit-sum). Each maps to one of the nine planets. We then pick 4-digit registration numbers whose digit-sum lands on a friend planet of both your numbers, and warn off plates that show enemy-planet digits prominently.

A fancy number — also called a VIP number or lucky registration — is a non-sequential 4-digit vehicle registration like 9999, 0001, 7777, or 1234 that the buyer chooses instead of being allocated by the next-in-line system. Indian RTAs auction or list these separately, often at a premium fee.
